Carter & Carter have announced the shocking and sudden death of their founder and chief executive, Philip Carter, who along with his son and two others was killed in a helicopter crash on his return home from a football match in Liverpool. Philip Carter struck us as a highly driven but very warm individual and we would like to take this opportunity to offer our sincere condolences to his family. On an interim basis the company have promoted non-executive Rodney Westhead as acting chief executive while they search for a permanent replacement.
