At its AGM, Domino's Pizza noted a strong start to the year with system sales up 21.3% and like-for-like sales increasing 13.3% in the 16 weeks to 20 April. This growth, which came against tough comparatives the previous year, was helped by its eight week sponsorship of the TV series “Britain's Got Talent.†Domino's also enjoyed a 95% jump in e-commerce. Meanwhile, Domino's has opened another 13 new stores and with several more sites with planning approval now in the pipeline than at this time last year, it expects to achieve its target of 50 openings this year.
