Given renewed fears of a Euro break-up on the back of a surge in support for  anti austerity politicians in Greece and France  it's not surprising that the FTSE-100 fell 2.4% and the FTSE All-Share declined 4.2%, while the TMI Trader Portfolio has pulled back 1.7%. Our resilience partly reflects a strategy of cutting losers and running winners and it's no coincidence that our most successful constituents - NCC, Synergy, Hargreaves and Telecom Plus - have resisted profit taking in the sell-off. Another recent success has been soft drinks firm Nichols, whose bullish AGM on 2 May was the catalyst for a surge above £7, making for a gain of almost 100% in just two years.
