Although shares in ITV have struggled to make headway in a difficult market the news continues to be positive. Final results showed adjusted pretax profit and eps rising 27% and 26% to £581m and 8.3p respectively, thanks to £28m of cost savings and a healthy 9% jump in revenues to almost £2.4bn. Management added further cheer by declaring a 4p special dividend to go with the ordinary 2.4p final.
