The shares sailed to a new high over £21. Who would have thought that our original NMC write up at 363p in December ‘13 would have increased by 477% (and we profiled the shares again at 468p in February ‘14).The catalyst was the removal of the 20% mandatory contribution for medical services accessed by Thiqa cardholders (i.e. UAE born citizens) at private Abu Dhabi facilities. In addition there is a reduction in the co-payment outside Abu Dhabi from 50% to 10%.
