The shares are back at the top of their range following full year results slightly better than expected with sales up 33% to £3.16bn and pretax profit rising 26% to £307.4m. Eps were 25.2p (2017: 19p). To put these into perspective, at the start of last year profit forecasts were for just £275m. Net cash is also ahead of expectations at £310m, up from £214m even despite capex rising by £100m to £187m.The core sports fashion side grew sales 26% to £2.7bn (like-for-like +8%) on the back of strong demand for athleisure and of course those hard to get trainers from Adidas and Nike.
