Shares in Tritax, the REIT specialist in “big box” logistics warehouses, have recovered from lows of 129p last December following final results showing an 8% rise in eps to 6.9p driven by a sparkling 31% rise in portfolio value to £3.4bn and a 28% increase in rent roll to £161m. It’s high quality income and the average weighted unexpired lease term for its tenants has grown to 14.4 years, up from 13.9 years in FY’17. Net asset value per share rose 7.4% to 152.8p while the dividend rose 5% to 6.7p.During the year it acquired eight Big Boxes with an aggregate purchase price of £641m and at the year-end it had 54 assets covering more than 29.8m sq. ft. of logistics space.
