IG Design, the designer and manufacturer of celebration, craft, gifting, stationery and creative play products, issued an update covering the year ended March, which noted an impressive 10% growth in revenues, helped by a maiden four week contribution from CSS Industries following the completion of the acquisition on 3rd March. The directors believe COVID-19 shaved at least £7m off revenues and also expect a significant increase in exceptional costs as a result of coronavirus, the CSS acquisition and integration costs. As at 31st March it had net cash of £42m supported by good cash management during March and good cash generation from CSS since acquisition.
