Healthcare services firm UDG has followed others by withdrawing guidance and cancelling the dividend as part of its statement covering the six months ended March, which noted profit before tax at constant currency was well ahead of the same period in 2019. Ashfield (70% group profit), which promotes new drugs to physicians and provides healthcare communications, achieved profits well ahead of the same period the previous year.
