Fourth quarter trading was a touch below expectations but still strong in absolute terms with revenue up 11.4% and increasing 29.5% in the year to March to £69.2m. Against FY’20 revenues rose 77.5%. E-Commerce rose 6% in Q4 but was against strong comparatives while the impact of the strategic exit of the Amazon UK marketplace also temporarily reduced momentum. Pleasingly, it increased repeat purchases from 18.6% to 25.5%. The lower consumer confidence (Ukraine, cost of living etc) meant overall sales were £2m shy of forecasts. The other issue that has crept into Q4 has been  cost inflation in freight rates, energy and payroll.
