The shares jumped after Vp  said its controlling shareholder, Ackers P Investment Company, a company connected to Vp's Chairman Jeremy Pilkington (50.26% stake),  has indicated to the Board its wish to dispose of its entire shareholding. A formal sales process has now been initiated.Having been a long-term holder, I’m slightly puzzled why he wants to exit now when markets are roiled. Nevertheless I would have thought he would want a PE of at least 15x given the company’s fantastic growth record, which would imply a c.1250p target price. I am awaiting developments. ...
