I hadn’t expected Volution to move quite so quickly following my meeting with CEO Ronnie George but it has announced the acquisition of two European businesses which Shore Capital says will add c. £5m or 7.5% to its FY’24 pretax profit forecast and 5% to its ‘24 eps (currently 25.4p). The broker will update its numbers following regulatory clearance. Larger of the two is I-Vent in Slovenia for €40.2m (including €15m earn-out) and the other is Ventilairsec, based in France, adding two new countries to its footprint while both come with useful manufacturing IP.
