As we move into the home straight for this double General Election year, TP2 is arguably “building back better” than any politician with a gain of 3.7% over the month and 20% for the year to date, comfortably outperforming the FTSE small cap index, which itself has broken into new highs. With more traders betting on sterling weakening vs the US$ in the belief that interest rates will be cut in the summer (which is catnip for shares),  it’s now a  real joy to review the portfolio. H&T has recovered nicely, Playtech briefly spiked to 530p while Babcock and Hunting hit new highs.
