Lastminute has released its Q1 December results.  This is seasonally the quietest (Q4 is the busiest), and pretax losses before goodwill  reduced from £7.2m to £3.8m.  Turnover (mainly commissions)  lifted from £4.7m to £11.7m.  All the key indicators showed substantial progress,  led by an improvement in customer conversion rate from 22.6% to 25.6% and a 6% increase in registered subscribers to 6.8 million users.  But this was tempered by news of higher than expected costs, in sales & marketing and implementing the outsourcing of UK data entry.  This, along with delays in  receiving cost savings from integrating Travelprice.com, has caused Cazenove to cut its earnings forecasts for 20 ...
