The shares hit a new high above £16 following an excellent update, which noted sales up 22% to £141.3m for the 13 weeks to 26 January, while for the first 39 weeks turnover was also ahead 22% to £333m. A focus on full price trading in the quarter meant margin gains achieved in the first half were maintained, leaving the group well-placed to meet broker expectations. Retail sales rose 18% to almost £114m in Q3, while nine standalone stores opened, two were relocated and following the acquisition of its German agency operation seven stores were transferred from franchised to owned.
