Amidst the intense volatility in share prices it would be understandable if investors missed the fact that the stars are once again aligning for UK house builders. The irony is that this volatility has actually pushed back market expectations for the first interest rate rise to come in 2019, while supply constraints and the Government’s Help-to-buy scheme are fanning expectations for another spike in house prices.
