Shares in Warpaint have enjoyed a terrific run following their introduction to AIM at 97p last November in a float that raised £2.5m for the company and £21m for selling shareholders. The company sells value-for-money colour cosmetics such as eye products and face make-up and has plugged into the bargain hunting zeitgeist dominating our times. For example, its “Hollywood” Bronze and Glow make-up line, priced at £4.99, is almost identical to up-market rival Charlotte Tilbury’s “Film Star” Bronze & Glow, which costs £49.
