PTSG, a provider of fall arrest equipment and lightning & electrical protection, has announced the acquisition of Trinity Fire & Security Systems, which significantly extends its fire solutions business.Exeter based Trinity provides testing, maintenance and installation of fire and security systems via 10 offices across the UK. PTSG paid an enterprise value of around £7.7m, while deferred consideration of up to £5m is payable over the next two years. With Trinity achieving revenues of £36.8m, EBITDA of c. £1.5m and operating profit of £1.25m (operating margin: 3.4%), the take-out price was c.6.2x operating profit and 5.1x EBITDA.
