Belvoir Group - Property franchise business trading comfortably ahead of expectations

The lifting of the Brexit cloud of uncertainty has galvanised the embattled estate and lettings agents with shares in Countrywide, 309p, the UK’s largest property services firm, having doubled from last October’s low while even colourful London estate agent, Foxtons, 90p, reeling from  half a decade of swinging stamp duty charges in the Capital, has enjoyed a rally. Another company that has caught our eye has been Belvoir Group, the UK’s largest property franchise group, which on 30 January revealed that its revenues in 2019 had risen a stunning 43% and as a result, pretax profit will be “comfortably ahead of management’s expectations.” Market share still just 3%< ...
