A nice jump back above £50 after Cranswick announced a record festive trading period underpinned by excellent volume growth across its core UK food business. The ongoing trend of “premiumisation,” whereby consumers are opting for premium at-home dining experiences in place of eating out, continues to provide a useful tailwind with its premium value added product range performing particularly strongly, helped by its alliances with most of the top supermarket giants.
