The shares surged after Luceco said that thanks to a strong end to the year, it now expects full year operating profit of between £28.5m-£29m, which is well ahead of expectations. At the mid-point it implies an 8.5% beat to consensus and brokers have lifted forecasts. Encouragingly, the improved order intake seen in Q3 has accelerated into Q4 leading to strong sales, particularly in the residential RMI sector. The EV charging business performed exceptionally well with sales up 50%, driven by new product launches and an improving market.
