A strong month for TP2, which rose 7.4%, driven by improved sentiment following the Bank of England’s interest rate cut and no fewer than four constituents beating forecasts. Minutes of the meeting showed two of the nine members had voted to cut by half a point, one of whom (Katherine Mann) has gone through a Damascene conversion from “Uber Hawk,” and investment banks are queuing up to debunk market expectations for just 2-3 cuts this year.
