Shares in Zetar, established to acquire businesses in the confectionery and snack food markets, have rocketed more than threefold since floating on AIM as a cash shell at 100p at the beginning of the year. And with good reason, given that it has just landed its first acquisition of Kinnerton, which manufactures niche and novelty chocolate confectionery for the major food and high street retailers. This is an excellent deal as Kinnerton is a profitable and well established business, with a strong market position in its chosen niches.
