Dana produced very strong final results for the year ended 31 December. Helped by a £15.6m one-off gain relating to an asset swap, pretax profit increased 232% to £108m, while earnings rose five-fold to 80.1p. Turnover was up 51% to £166m, partly reflecting a 6% rise in average production to 19,683 barrels of oil equivalent per day (boepd), but mainly thanks to a 43% increase in the average sale price to US$42.24. Proven and probable reserves increased by 24% to 94.4m barrels of oil equivalent (boe).
