Kentz - Share price tops 250p for first time

Following its strong update Kentz, which erects accommodation blocks and support infrastructure such as power, water, waste and telecoms for new build projects like LNG plants and oil terminals, duly published excellent results, sending the shares to a new high of 254p. For the year ended 31 December, turnover and pretax profit increased 9% to US$704m and US$44m respectively, helped by a rise in operating margins from 5.5% to 5.7%. Eps increased 5.5% to 26.4 cents. Meanwhile, gross cash increased 17% to US$180m, of which its own cash is c.US$134m. Order backlog increased 49% to almost US$1.5bn.
