The shares stormed to a new high of 67p after Prezzo released strong results and the acquisition of another six leasehold restaurants from Caffé Uno for just £0.55m, adding to last August’s £3m purchase of 11 sites from the same vendor. Results showed a 15% jump in revenue to almost £105m and pretax profit rising 12% to £14.4m. Eps increased 13% to7 4.43p. This beat Numis' forecasts for £13.5m pretax and eps of 4.1p. Part of its growth stemmed from canny two-for-one internet voucher deals.
