Business exhibitions firm Tarsus'  results were well-trailed by its pre-close update, but the outlook continues to be reassuring and the shares have inched to a new high. The year saw pretax profit of £9.5m (ahead of £9.3m forecast), which was down from the £10.4m secured in 2008, the previous “off-year” for its largest biennial events. Eps was 10.3p, against 10.0p forecast, while net debt fell by £2.1m to £28.6m. A pleasing 4p final dividend will also be paid.
