As the housing boom has cranked up another gear so have shares in double glazing windows specialist Safestyle. Results came in ahead of expectations and with the New Year also starting strongly, broker Zeus Capital has upgraded forecasts. For the year to 31 December turnover, pretax profit and eps rose 13%, 58% and 63% respectively to £125m, £15m and 14.8p. 2013 was the first year of industry growth in the replacement double glazed window and door market since 2007 and Safestyle fully took advantage with volume of frames installed rising 7.5% to 250,185 and market share increased from 7.5% to 7.9%.
