Lavendon, which hires out powered access platforms to provide a safe way of working at height, is one of those shares that you would expect to be flying high given that the UK, its largest market, is enjoying an economic renaissance and other construction related firms are booming. But investors can sometimes get themselves in a tizzy over the low oil price and the perception that Lavendon’s second biggest market in the Middle East will be impacted. However, these fears are well wide of the mark for two reasons.
