ITV’s results were dominated by another special dividend of 10p, taking total payout for the year to 16p. The group announced 15% growth in revenues to almost £3bn while pretax profit rose 18% to £843m. Eps was up 20%to 26.5p while net debt was £319m after spending £406m on acquisitions.A strong UK economy helped its main division, broadcast & online (which attracts the largest audience other than the BBC), increase profit 16% to £591m on revenues 6% ahead at £2.1bn, driven by identical growth in national advertising revenue (NAR).
