The latest surge has taken the shares to an amazing £34 following superlative results that showed turnover, net profit and eps rising 31%, 43% and 33%, respectively, to US$1.6bn, US$237m and 103.6 cents.Healthcare grew sales 41% to US$1,161m with EBITDA ahead 47% to US$355m (EBITDA margin: + 1.3% to 30.6%) aided by synergies from recent deals and first contributions from new build hospital NMC Royal (200 operational beds, a further 116 expected in 2019) and the acquired Al Zahra hospital. NMC achieved 33% growth in patients to 5.8 million while average revenue per patient rose 8% to US$190.
