Results for the year ended 31st December were in line, with revenue and pretax profit increasing 18% and 7% respectively to £79.6m and £22.2m. Eps was up 1%, reflecting the higher number of shares following November’s placing, which reduced net debt from £94.2m to £36.5m and supported an exponential rise in capex from £42.5m to £122.8m.SMS continues to blaze a trail of growth with total gas and electricity metering and data assets under management increasing by 780,000 to 2.03 million.
