We bought into both specialist buy to let lender OneSavings Bank (OSB) in December ’16 at 284p and its younger but faster growing rival, Charter Court Financial Services, in December ’17 at 234p and after a yo-yo performance (not helped by Brexit’s potential effect on transactions) they both rallied sharply after agreeing an all-share merger and are now 41% and 47% ahead, respectively.OSB is set to hold 55% and CCFS 45% of the enlarged group, with the former’s management set to take the senior roles.
