The shares smashed through £4 after the Southern-focused house builder said full year ’21 results are now expected to be ahead of consensus with guidance for pretax profit of around £85m. This reflects good trading on the back of a resilient UK housing market, helped by an extension to the stamp duty holiday and the introduction of Government-backed 95% mortgages. Several mortgage firms have already implemented these in anticipation. Looking at the chart I think £5 is achievable in fairly short order.
