The shares are now up 170p in 2024 following Cohort subsidiary SEA’s new contract worth £135m, awarded by the UK MOD to provide a Trainable Decoy Launcher to improve the Royal Navy surface ships’ defensive capabilities. SEA’s Ancilia system, a highly modular and flexible maritime countermeasures solution, has been selected to provide Electronic Warfare Countermeasures to the Royal Navy. Ancilia delivers effective protection against anti-ship threats such as ballistic missiles as well as other sophisticated systems and will be installed across the Royal Navy’s surface ships.
