Carphone Warehouse has again beaten expectations, this tine for its second quarter ending 25 September.  Its distribution (shops) sidesaw a 25% increase in total connections to 1.55m, of which subscriptionconnections increased 18% to 0.69m, with  pre-pay connections growing by nearly 30% to 0.71m. Another 50 stores were opened, taking the total to 1,329, a year-on-year increase of 154%. Meanwhile,in its Telecoms Services division  Opal saw nearly 19% growth in switched minutes excluding TalkTalk traffic, while TalkTalk itself added another 137,000 customers taking the total to 648,000.
