Connaught has issued an encouraging trading update for its financialyear ending 31 August, which noted that results will be in line with expectations. It also confirmed that its order book has risen sharply from £680m to just over £1 billion. Both its social housing maintenancebusiness and its gas maintenance business, GasForce, continue to trade well, while the only disappointment was the higher than expected costs of closing down its struggling corporate sector and office interiors businesses. These will now cost up to £7.75m, but will eliminate ongoing losses of around £2m a year.   Broker, Altium, hasleft its 2004 and 2005 earnings forecasts unchanged at 26.3p and 31.6p, but has upgraded its 2006 forecasts by 8% ...
