A tell tale sign that we are entering the latter stages of this great oil bull run is the switch in investor interest to highly speculative early stage ventures, which have a lump of cash, fantastic dreams and little else. Falkland Oil and Gas (market cap:£46m), a recent spin-out from Falkland Island Holdings, 520p, fits this description to a tee.  After floating on AIM at 40p on 14 October,its shares surged to a 20% opening day premium, with the open offer element being 3.5 times oversubscribed.
