Domino’s Pizza Group (DPG), which is the master franchisee in the UK and Ireland of the world’s leading pizza delivery brand, exudes most of the characteristics that make a great momentum share. By doing the simple things well, such as milking its fantastic brand recognition to drive the business forward, it has grown to the point where it is the undisputed market leader in takeaway pizza. The result of this success is that in the last six full years, DPG has increased pretax profit and earnings more than five-fold and with the competition looking increasingly cowed, we believe it has every chance of making further substantial gains even from this higher base.
