Shares in Office2office, the contract supplier of office consumables, hit a new high of 289p on the back of a good set of results for the six months ended 30 June. Turnover increased 5% to £75.5m, with pretax profit rising 19% to £5.7m before exceptional costs of £3.3m relating to its float. Earnings increased 29% to 10.1p, while net cash increased from £1.8m to £3.8m. Highlights included two major contract renewals, including one with Barclays Bank and the other being from the Department of Work and Pensions.Office2office is a well run company and fully justifies the recent re-rating in the shares, which now stand on a prospective PE of 13.9, falling to 12.5 next year, based on forecast earnings of 2 ...
