After five straight months of gains, the TMI Trader Portfolio finally succumbed to some profit taking, with a 1% fall to £253,534, although the overall increase since inception is still nearly 154%. Newsflow was mostly positive, however, with highlights including confident interim results from Peter Hambro Mining, whose shares soared to a new high of 833p after Canaccord increased its share price target to 1050p. There was also a good performance from Burren, which hit a new high of 875p, after it too released good results.
