At its AGM, financial spread betting firm IG noted that the first four months of its financial year had seen continued strong performance with revenues and levels of account opening substantially higher than this time last year. Its overseas businesses in Australia and Singapore also did well, while it felt obliged to highlight that it doesn’t take bets from US residents, in the light of the recent anti-gambling law rushed through the US congress. The shares have started well since last month’s tip, hitting a new high of 269p. Continue to hold. ...
