Shares in Interactive World hit a new high of 101.5p ahead of forecast beating final results for the year to 31 July, which showed turnover increasing 2% to £9.1m while pretax profit soared 37% to £4.3m. Diluted earnings were 7.7p, compared to the 7.2p forecast, thanks to a lower than expected interest charge. Net cash balances rose 20% to £3.4m, allowing the company to pleasantly surprise investors through paying a chunky 4p dividend, which produces a yield of nearly 4.5% at today’s price.
