Maiden results from International Nuclear Solutions (INS), a specialist in nuclear engineering and consultancy work, were in line with expectations with operating profit, before flotation costs of £0.8m, being £1m on turnover of £12.6m. Although these figures are down on the £1.1m and £14.1m respectively seen in 2005, this is more to do with structural changes concerning Government funding within the UK’s nuclear industry, which put a hold on new contracts being granted, than anything untoward within INS.
