In its largest deal to date, social housing contractor Connaught hasannounced the £91m acquisition of National Britannia, a white collarcompliance services business, which nicely bulks up its existing "bluecollar" compliance division. Connaught is part funding the acquisitionvia a £58m placing and 2-for-11 open offer of new shares at 310p, withthe rest through increased borrowings.
