At its AGM, Hargreaves announced that results for its first quarterare closely in line with market expectations, while its acquisition ofSimon Bulk Warehousing has proved very successful, with the keycontract with ConocoPhillips being retained. Meanwhile, the group orderbook continues to grow with a number of existing contracts renewed andnew contracts won. Earlier, Hargreaves announced the bolt-on acquisition of ImperialTankers Limited, a company engaged in the movement of liquid products,for an initial Â£5m.
