The Q3 update shows turnover in the core safety and protection business rose 51% over the comparable figure in 2007. The majority of this uplift is from GTC, which was acquired last October, while trading in the rest of the division has remained strong with the recently improved operating margins being sustained. No news yet on the deck-clearing sale of its non-core holiday homes business, although this is believed to be imminent. Broker Landsbanki has slapped a 433p price target on the shares.
