Synergy has announced that earnings for the six months to 26 September are expected to be in line with expectations. The margin growth seen in Q1 has continued into Q2, while there has been further revenue growth in the sterilisation and decontamination divisions, although this has slightly been offset by zero growth in revenues from the linen side and by the wind-down of its non-core businesses. The bid pipeline is improving and new contract wins worth £60m have been added to the order book, taking the total to c. £860m.
