GKN, the supplier of specialist parts to the automotive and aerospace industries, has unnerved investors, by noting that although trading since H1 has been in line with expectations macro economic conditions have deteriorated in recent weeks. Some softening of order books is  evident, particularly European automotive and industrial. As a result although Q4 should see the usual seasonal pickup  this softening may have an impact.Given that profit warnings have started to pop up in the industrial sector (see our Elementis update) it seems prudent to introduce a stop-loss of 210p. ...
