One of the more unlikely recovery stories this year is Game Digital, the UK’s largest high street video gaming retailer, which was introduced to the Full List last June at 200p, in a float that raised £20m for the company and £101m for selling shareholders. The shares have since risen to a new high of 286p.It seems so incredible, given that Game crashed spectacularly into administration early in 2012, a victim of the trough in the computer games cycle, the recession and ill-judged expansion during the middle of the last decade.
